TONY LOPEZ

University of Oklahoma, 1993, Biochemistry, BS
Oklahoma State University, 1997, DVM
ABVP Diplomate, 2005 Specialist CertificationDr. Tony Lopez started Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital. He has worked as a veterinarian in the DFW area for 19 years after graduating from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Dr. Lopez was employed as an associate veterinarian in north Dallas for the past 11 years, practicing at Cornerstone Animal Clinic. During that time, the practice doubled in size. While Dr. Lopez did not want to leave many beloved clients, pets, and staff, he made the difficult decision to realize the dream of opening his own veterinary practice.
Dr. Lopez is a board-certified specialist in canine and feline practice. There are only a handful of these specialists in the DFW area and board certification represents an extra level of medical and surgical expertise in taking care of your dog or cat. More information about board-certified specialists can be found here at the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners web site. Dr. Lopez obtained his specialist status in 2005.
Dr. Lopez shares his home with many pets and enjoys the company of a very smart Border Collie named Wyatt, and two male orange tabbies — Gimly and Eli. -

DVM
Oklahoma State University, 1998, DVM
Dr. Steven Hull has been practicing in the DFW area since 1998. He is a certified cat-friendly veterinarian who attended undergraduate classes at Oklahoma State University for just 2 years before being accepted to OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine at age 19. In the summer of 1996, Dr. Hull and Dr. Lopez met through mutual friends while both in Veterinary School at OSU. This nearly 25-year friendship is a large part of what brought Dr. Hull to Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital after a 16-year tenure at Carrier Animal Hospital in Grand Prairie.
In his spare time during high school, he began showing cats in the Cat Fanciers’ Association. He exhibited several breeds of cats to National Wins, earning them wins among the top 15 cats in the country. One of these cats, a Russian Blue named Nick, was featured on ESPN in a special chronicling a show Steven attended in San Francisco in 1992. Later that same year, he began breeding and showing Oriental and Colorpoint Shorthairs and eventually produced a National Winner in both breeds. Another hobby of his is bowling, in both leagues and tournaments. The highlight of Steven’s bowling career was a perfect 300 game in October 2002.
Currently, Dr. Hull has two Miniature Australian Shepherds, Marlee and Maddie,
